Seems like everyone is caught off guard by the new opening so was I, but I’m glad I made it to episode 51 to be able to see that Dai would be teaming up with his Father.

Hyunkle is a real one and always has been keeping his word to take care of Baran over a dying wish. He sacrificed his future to fight just to keep Baran from meeting his doom, I believe Hyunkle also did it for Dai for he would be ashamed of himself and be filled with regret knowing Baran’s true intentions… while Baran being a former enemy.

It’s going to be sad to not see Hyunkle Popp out of nowhere to rescue his friends, or anyone. Don’t give up on Hyunkle he can surprise us at any moment I hope.

Was just thinking he might make a comeback. Much like Crocodine he's survived supposedly fatal wounds and collapsing buildings before, so maybe we'll see him fight again. Heck he's even featured prominently in the opening. if they bother changing it 50 episodes in they won't show somebody fighting whose only fight will be in the first episode with this new opening.

Man Crocodine is a true bro. Definitely one of my favorite characters in the series. Also wasn't expecting a new opening all of the sudden, it's really good.

As someone who has never read the manga, I have trouble understanding how we'll get another 40-ish episodes out of this. :/ We seem to be running quite earnestly towards the ending, I don't know what could cause it to last that much longer.

As for the episode, that was a good showdown between Hyunkle and Baran, though I think they censored the aftermath a bit too much. Hyunkle doesn't even look injured here, just unconscious.

Clearly you're unfamiliar with the old ways of the final arc taking 1/3rd of the entire runtime as every major villain gets their big spotlight and the true final boss goes through all seven phases.

But in case you can't imagine it: remember how long the Frieza fight took, even if you count -just- from the moment goku started fighting him.

Please, we are probably going to have a dozen or more episodes just fighting the five Royal Guard.

Maybe they will start the dragon part of the quest.

There has always been sensational moments happening in this story. I also felt Togashi's writing from his Hunter X Hunter Nen about Gon concealing his aura.

Nah it was quite the opposite from hxh. If you used zen in a match without creativity (like letting the enemy lose sight of you) and get the attack head-on you were pretty much fucked before you could do anything. (Enitre body exploding)

This explanation of concealing just didnt make any sense in dq.

It made a bit more sense in the manga but they trimmed it to stupidity here.

The idea is basically to intentionally ragdoll off the attack to minimize the damage taken, then immediately counter in the moment before you finish tanking the hit and the enemy recovering their stance.

Yh that sounds a bit more reasonable i guess. Turning aura on last second plus dodging. Well its toei what do ya expect. Thanks to hayashis music its quite good tho.

It's more than a little stupid that an injury would keep Hyunckel from fighting. I mean why wouldn't a heal spell work. I'm sure they'll come up some nonsense like an injury inflicted by a dragon knight can't be healed by ordinary magical means.

Healling can cure for so long and have a limit of how much it can do, he gets to a point that his body can no longer heal, no matter what kind of magic is used, as a human he lives but as a warrior, he dies.

So from what the new opening/ending showed, Baran will die.
